Breast Reduction

Reduction mammoplasty is the reduction of the breast.

Surgery. It takes between 3 and 5 hours. The surgeon removes excess skin and tissues, after that everything is going in the same way as in the case of mastopexy –movement of nipple and areola in the new position and forming new contour of the breast. Sometimes liposuctioning is used to remove excess fat vrom the axillary space.

Rehabilitation. Swellings are disappearing in one-two weeks. You are to wear compression garments for 2-3 weeks in order to improve skin elasticity. You can wear off it for the night.

Contraindications. There are contraindications, you must consult a doctor.
